Oyin Hair Dew Low Porosity
Hair dew improved heat damage. So i've been using more glycerin in my regimen.

So i learned about this product through much research into trying to find a good leave in conditioner for low po hair, i came across somebody talking about the oyin hair dew lotion. Was this moisturizing for any 4a/4b/4c girls who are low porosity?

I've found that using proteins in my leave in conditioner didn't seem to help me much so i don't use protein in this step. Low porosity hair often has trouble absorbing moisture, while high porosity hair has issues retaining moisture.

I use/rotate activator gel, castor oil and oyin hair dew. Days of moisture, sheen, and hair happiness! I can only use the oyin on dry hair because the white product won't be absorbed.
Love it with my wng. It also benefits from humectant products, which attract and hold moisture to your hair. My hair type is 2b, low porosity, medium density.
I think bc i had prior product from the previous days there was some residue from the interaction. But i don't want to risk dry hair b/c i'm not moisturizing enough. I have nothing to compare it to since this is my first time using hair dew but mine isn't thin but i also don't consider it oily.

I twisted on damp hair with oyin hair dew and oyin burnt sugar pomade. But oyin’s hair dew will refresh the curls even. As the seasons change, you might need to make some changes to your regimen due to lower temperatures and dew points.
Through trial and error, i switched to gels with glycerin and it's been great. I'll hold out on this one. Low porosity hair requires moisturizers rich in emollients such as shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil.

I twist my hair with avocado butter on top of oyin hair dew as my leave in as a ps once a week after washing/dc and i feel that it's enough. To be honest i could wax lyrical about this wonderful leave in, which my low porosity hair adores. A few people have mentioned this product to me but have any other 4c mamas tried.

I ordered it about 6 months ago, give or take, from oyin direct. I used it as a li under hairveda gelly and my hair is so soft, pretty and shiny! But unfortunately, i am sooo disappointed with the daylight robbery in terms of pricing this item.
So i was extremely interested and ended up buying it! My low porosity hair adapted very well to it. So heres my experience with it, ive used it a couple of.
The hair dew not only smoothed my hair texture, but it improved the heat damage as well as my overall texture over the course of a year. I tried it on day 5 hair and it did pretty well on my puff. Besides the heavenly smell of oyin handmade’s hair dew the presence of water, castor oil, and olive oil (remember the first three ingredients are key) as the first three ingredients make this hair lotion a must have in any highly porous natural’s regimen.
Soft boingy curls/coils with good hold. I believe that i have low to normal porosity (also fine and dense) and i'm wondering how often do you guys with low po hair moisturize. I have low porosity hair, not course, but more medium texture.
I think i found success in shampooing with the ors creamy aloe shampoo. I loved it when i was relaxed, but stopped using it when i. This may become even more of an issue when it gets cold and dry outside.
